“As a student athlete, I was the captain of our collegiate water polo team earning All American honors. After graduating from University of California San Diego, I enlisted in the Navy in 1994. I served as a hospital corpsman in Coronado as a Navy SEAL for 8 years.”
“I also competed in the World Games earning a gold medal in the Pentathlon during my early Navy years. After 9/11, I was recruited into a position in Washington, D.C. continuing my work in Special Operations acting as a medical officer in my units serving in over 12 areas of national interest – to include warzones. Since 2009, I have worked as a firefighter in Orange County, California, where I currently hold the position of Fire Captain: Having instructed 3 academies, developed curriculum in leadership development, and been a member of the Urban Search and Rescue team. I served in numerous cities throughout the county in various rescue, EMS, and fire capacities. Recently, I have collaborated with various outside agencies, and specialists to shape a nationally-recognized Behavioral Wellness program for members in our ranks – focusing on nutrition, sleep habits, meditation, breathwork, exercise, and the importance of our interconnectedness.
Having dedicated over 30 years to community and country, it is evident that I love to serve others. After quickly connecting with Dr Brad and the stellar team at BlueWave Medicine, I sensed a great opportunity to continue my passions providing for others within the BlueWave Medicine community bringing my experiences, successes (and failures), and the wisdom of those who've provided guidance to provide balance in current practices for health & longevity.”
